Shipping & Returns


The charges for shipping and handling for online shopping at Akshaya Premnath depend on the location to which you want your purchases to be sent.

Free shipping is offered to only customers in India*.

For customers outside India, international shipping charges as well as duties and taxes as applicable are payable by the customer.

*Handling or convenience charges may apply.


Items will be sent to the address provided by you to the website. Make sure that you recheck the address before you confirm the order so as to avoid incorrect delivery.

We prefer to deliver to office or residence addresses.

we do not encourage delivery to P.O. boxes or any other destination where the recipient is not identifiable because of the risk involved due to the value of the goods.

Delivery dates are not guaranteed in the event of service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond the control of Akshaya Premnath. These interruptions include but are not limited to transportation systems, customs clearance issues, shipping carrier or cardholder’s credit card bank delays.


A single service provider may not have a strong network in all countries hence in order to optimize shipping lead times we work with several different service providers. A mail containing details of the service provider as well as the tracking information will be sent to you within 48 hours after an order is shipped from our warehouse.


The delivery time for an order depends on the order itself. For made to measure, the process takes 15 – 25 days. We will update you with the tracking details within 48 hours of the items being dispatched. Deliveries will take place between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm unless otherwise specified.

Heavier/Bridal Lehengas may take upto 45 – 60 days. We recommend to ask us for an approximate delivery date at the time of order.

We do not entertain Returns or Exchanges as each order is customized according to the measurements provided by the customer.

However, Returns and Exchange of any Akshaya Premnath product is only possible under the following conditions and by way of a credit note.


We closely inspect every piece of merchandise that leaves our store. If you feel your merchandise is damaged, you must let us know within 5 working days of receipt. A full account credit will be applicable for damaged products. Items cannot be returned on grounds of colour, choice or handwork.


If the item you received is not what you originally ordered, please write to us with your order number and name. We shall ship the merchandise you requested for as soon as we receive our wrongly sent merchandise in its original form and packaging.


For return or exchange, call or write to us and we will schedule a pick at no cost to you. We suggest to take a video/pictures while opening the package in case there is damage.

Once we receive the return product, it undergoes a quality check. Once approved new product will be shipped to you within 10 days from the date of approval from our QC team.

All items to be returned or exchanged must be unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged by you. Akshaya Premnath will not incur shipping or insurance charges on merchandise that is cancelled.

The returned good must contain on labels, tag, receipt and other packaging with which the goods were sent to you. Akshaya Preamnath reserves the right to refuse return or exchange in case of missing packaging.

All returns will only be on credit basis. A credit note will be sent to the billing address provided by you.

This amount will exclude shipping and handling charges. Exchange can only be in the form of repurchase via the credit note.

We do not accept returns on specially ordered and customised items under any circumstances since all items have been customised as per your request and post your approval.

If you do wish to modify your order, please inform us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, once an order has been submitted we cannot guarantee the purchase can be modified.


All refunds are made by the way of a credit note only. If you wish to return or exchange your order because of one of the reasons mentioned above and approved by our QC team. You will be provided with a credit note which can be used for future purchases from our online store. Validity of the credit note will be 365 days from the date of issue of the credit note.


We do not entertain cancellation of order after 24 hours from receiving the order. However if the order is cancelled within 24 hours from the ordering, you will be refunded for the order placed.

There will be no cash or online payment refund for cancellation of order.

You will be provided with a credit note which can be used for future purchases from our online store. Validity of the credit note will be 365 days from the date of issue of the credit note.
